Sunny
Trust International was founded in 1995 under Trust Act 1882
and is registered under Voluntary Social Welfare Registration
and Control Ordinance 1961. It is a non-profitable, non-political
and non-secretarian -- Tax Exempted organization. Sunny Trust
International is running 50 bedded treatment and rehabilitation
centre for drug addicts and creating awareness among general
public and high-risk groups particularly youth against the
ill effects of drugs, HIV/AIDS & IDUs.
Sunny Trust International so for has treated nearly 8000 drug
addicts, covering practically all the social spectrum and
successive generation of drug addicts. Besides, Sunny Trust
has treated overseas patients those of Pakistani origin from
different countries i.e. Britain, Russia and Switzerland.
The majority of addicts suffer from chronic diseases due to
their prolonged history of drug abuse, repeated treatment
and relapse. They are usually brought to this center as a
last hope.
Sunny Trust International is the oldest and largest drug-free,
self-help programme in Pakistan. Sunny Trust International
acts on behalf of those who seek help from problems compounded
by substance abuse. Sunny methodology is based on therapeutic
community (TC), a highly structured family environment where
positive peer interaction is emphasized.

HIV/AIDS & IDUs AWARENESS PROGRAMME:
Sunny
Trust International (STI) organized awareness-raising seminar
on December 15, 2009, at Bhara Kahu, Islamabad for HIV/AIDS
and IDUs in relation to World AIDS Day. The awareness activity
focus was to raise the awareness level to promote the control
of the transmission of HIV/AIDS, Drugs and IDUs. More.......
